At the exhibition, the Sustainable Food Future and Technology & Services area received much attention, which showcased innovative technologies, new foods, and solutions to deal with current threats to the sustainability of the food future. Currently, consumers are now considering much about the environment, besides personal health, when buying food. Accordingly, the healthy food trend has been formed when consumers actively seek out products that have positive impact on their health.
In particular, plant-based nutrition is of much interest. The Food producers interested in applying technology creatively to promote the potential of this product line as a signature line. The trend of sustainable food consumption is exploding worldwide. This is a positive trend, contributing to environmental protection and improving consumer health. We would like to develop sustainable and environment friendly agricultural and marine products, such as Rainforest Alliance Certification for Coffee, and MSC/ASC for Seafoods.
