Aiming the goal to inspirie a passion for sports and enhance health, thereby promoting a healthy lifestyle, Kanematsu Vietnam encouraged and supported its employees to participate in the 7th Techcombank Ho Chi Minh City International Marathon.
The marathon is not only a physical challenge but also an opportunity for participants to demonstrate their strong will. Through each step, runners convey a powerful message: overcoming personal limits, stepping towards a superior version of themselves while contributing to the outstanding development of the community. This also reflects Kanematsu Vietnam's commitment to accompany society in building a strong and prosperous Vietnam.
The event attracted attendant from General Director, General Managers, and employees along with more than 17,000 athletes from all over the country and the world. Participants competed in various distances, including the full marathon, half marathon, 10 km, and 5 km. The race route passed through 5 districts, one city and 17 historical and symbolic landmarks of Ho Chi Minh City. The journey was not only a journey of self-discovery but also an opportunity to connect with nature and local culture.
The 42.195km race started at 3:30 am, when the city was still sleeping, but at the event venue, the atmosphere was bustling and vibrant, as if the night had never existed. The athletes' faces were radiant, reflecting the spirit of determination to conquer the challenge. They not only ran for themselves but also ran for a greater mission - spreading passion, will and aspiration to the community.
Kanematsu Vietnam hopes the spirit of sportsmanship fostered during this marathon will extend beyond the event, becoming a lasting habit for every employee.
