In 2022, Kanematsu Corporation established the Green Transformation Committee (GX Committee), creating an integrated framework for the managing and support of environment-related businesses within the Group. This strategic initiative demonstrates Kanematsu’s commitment to environmental protection and promoting sustainable development on a global scale.
As an active member of the Group, Kanematsu Vietnam has consistently prioritized aligning its business activities with the GX orientation. Company also emphasizes community support initiatives, contributing to creating sustainable value for society.
This year, as part of its annual activities, Kanematsu Vietnam cooperated with Limloop, a social enterprise providing recycling solutions, to present customers and partners with special recycled tote bags.
The tote bags, named “ Circles”, are part of Limloop’s True Colors collection. These bags are crafted from layers of recycled nylon bags and environmentally friendly materials. Their designs feature interwoven circular patterns, symbolizing waste and the efforts to reduce and resolve it. This is the strong message that Kanematsu and Limloop aim to convey: "Join hands for a greener, cleaner future."
What makes the "Circles" tote especially unique is not only its creative design but also the skillful hands of deaf artisans. Each bag is a one-of-a-kind handmade creation, embodying exceptional artistry while empowering disadvantaged people with opportunities to learn and grow.
